Revolution Media Academy (Pty) Ltd is a QCTO and MICT SETA accredited private media training institution. RMA is the Responsible Party for your personal information under POPIA.
We collect: identity information (name, ID/passport, date of birth, gender, nationality), contact details, academic records, financial information, employment information (for SLI applicants), disability status (voluntary, for SETA reporting), and guardian details for students under 18.
To process your application, administer your enrolment, issue certificates, manage your account, communicate with you, and report to QCTO and MICT SETA as required by law.
QCTO and MICT SETA for compliance reporting; DHET for examination centre reporting; our LMS provider (Moodle); SMS and email service providers. We do not sell your information. All third parties are contractually required to handle it securely.
Student records are retained for a minimum of 7 years after completion or termination of studies. Financial records are retained for 5 years.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforeg@justice.gov.za.
